Our Story
Euro-American Brands was founded in 1990 by our CEO Dite Van Clief, our COO Tami Targovnik, and their business partner Peter Leiendecker. From Tami’s house, this original team of three began introducing premium German confections into the United States. For the three decades since, Euro-American Brands has grown from humble beginnings to develop a nationwide network of gourmet confections and specialty food distribution, exclusively representing a portfolio of 18 companies, including 10 of the world’s top confectionary producers.
EAB is focused on long-term relationships. We are not interested in rapid success if it cannot be sustained. Our policy is to build a solid foundation that leads to continued growth for years to come. We have a nationwide sales team and a network of brokers, as well as time-tested industry relationships. Using this network, we have a proven track record of introducing brands to the U.S. market and helping them reach their full potential. It is with this philosophy and extended time-horizon that we introduce Ritter Sport to the U.S. market and have continued building it into the brand it is today.
Located six miles from New York City, EAB offers fully-integrated marketing services, a brand management team with decades of experience, and a fully optimized logistical chain. We are also in close proximity to our product at a nearby warehouse, ensuring our brand managers’ hands-on involvement in all projects.
