Jack Holmstrom was born and raised in Va. Beach, VA.  where he spent his high school summers lifeguarding at the beach and waiting tables the rest of the year. He graduated from James Madison University with business management degree. Upon graduation from college Jack worked for RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company (1987-1995)  where a management position sent his family to Huntsville, Alabama for 2 years.  After taking an early retirement package he moved his family back home to VA Beach and into a growing business. Jack spent the next 5 years with JW Riley working with civilian supermarkets and then on to the military where he was introduced to Euro American Brands. Jack was hired by Euro American in September of 2001. He and his wife, Sharon have two boys and welcomed their niece to the family when she was 12.

Joined Euro American Brands in 1998. Current responsibilities include headquarter calls for Cost Plus World Market, ethnic distributors in California, and forty-four Western regional DeCA stores. Enjoy Yoga, hiking, reading, Oregon Pinot Noirs, and keeping the spices alphabetically organized in the kitchen pantry. I think that I speak for all of my colleagues when I say that Euro American Brands would rank # 1 as one of the best employers in the USA.  

Steve Albright grew up in a military family at Camp Kilmer, New Jersey and traveled the country with them until the age of 18. He has been in sales ever since. He started his sales career with a tobacco and candy house then moved to a wholesale industrial paper company. He eventually opened his own military grocery brokerage under the name of Garrison Mktng. Over 20 successful years of ownership with the last 6 including a small distribution center for Euro-American Brands, LLC, where he delivered products to various Midwest commissaries. After selling his business Steve went to work for Euro directly as the Military Midwest Sales Manager. Almost 10 years of  developing relationships and trust with his accounts and his brokerage reps, many have become good friends. Steve has been married to Marsha for 40 wonderful years. They have 3 incredible children and 4 super grand kids who are the love of their lives. Both Marsha and Steve are active in their church and thank Him daily for all their many blessings. Steve is an avid fan of the KC Royals and Chiefs, still shoots a little pool, loves reading, traveling and canoeing. He is looking forward to many more productive years with the best “family” business in the USA!

Rhonda married in New Mexico and with her loving husband Fred started their own cabinet shop.  In 1989 she started working for DeCA (Defense Commissary Agency) as an on call cashier and eventually worked her way into a full time position.  In 2000 Rhonda was promoted to a Sales Rep position with DMI (Dixon Marketing), which was the Broker for Euro-American Brands at the time. 8 years later Rhonda was offered a Sales Manager slot with Euro-American Brands. Since 2009 Rhonda has been the Military Sales Manager for the Midwest Region where she is planning on staying until retirement.: “I am the widow of a lifetime Military career man, so for me to be given the opportunity to give back (in the manner that Euro-American Brands does) to those Military families that make sacrifices for our country every day, is a blessing in disguise.  I currently live in the ElPaso, TX area where I am able to spend time with my Daughter and Son in law,  and three of my wonderful grandchildren!”

Jimmy Sherman was born and raised in Bethesda, MD and attended the University of Maryland. For 6 years Jimmy owned and managed a men’s clothing boutique. From there he spent his next 30 years at Post Sales and Service, Inc where he was General Manager. Some of his responsibilities included sales to military commissaries, exchanges and Vet canteens. He set up a DSD system to ship the commissaries and established the German Specialty Food section in the Military Commissaries. Jimmy was the Mid-Atlantic Military broker for Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream and Sunshine Biscuits. He was also the President of the Washington, DC chapter of the ALA. Jimmy has been the Eastern regional manager for Euro-American Brands since 2004 and is broker for commissary and exchange sales. Jimmy and his wife Ann have 2 grown children and 4 darling grandchildren. He enjoys family time, golf and traveling. Jimmy’s favorite saying is: “Serving the Most Deserving” for the military.

In 1981 I began my career in Military sales doing merchandising in the commissary at Fort Myer in Arlington VA. Then in 1984 I was hired as a sales rep for post sales and service for a distributor/broker in the Washington D.C. area. I was in that position for 20 years. In 2004 I went to work directly for Euro-American Brands managing the commissaries in the Washington D.C. territory. I have learned to navigate the Defense Commissary Agency system and this gives me a since of pride being able to service our troops. I look forward to continuing my career with Euro American Brands and servicing the military resale business for many years to come.
